FraudFindr: Managing Victim & Suspect Information

Managing Victim & Suspect Information

Victim and Suspect information is a critical part of every case in FraudFindr. This information can be added or modified at any time and it’s designed to enhance or even replace your existing client intake workflow.

Once you’ve added a case, click Manage Case, then Edit Case Details. You’ll see tabs for Victim and Suspect. Simply click into each tab to edit the information.

Remember to be as thorough as possible and save your changes.

FraudFindr will help identify suspicious activity or potential fraud based on the information you enter here. This information will directly impact which transactions are automatically flagged for review when you run account analysis.

For example, if you indicate that the victim doesn’t drive and we find transactions for auto insurance or gas, we’ll flag those transactions when you run analysis. Likewise, if you indicate the victim never uses a credit card and we find credit card purchases, we’ll flag those transactions for review.

Need to add more than one suspect? This is a feature we’re working on, but in the meantime we recommend using the Notes and Reporting feature to record your findings for any additional Suspects.
